What Do You Actually Send to a Thesis Proofreader?

Do you send the whole thesis, or only the chapters you’re worried about? I’m nearly done with mine and wasn’t sure whether a proofreader normally checks everything, including references, tables, headings, and appendices. I’ve also seen people mention a thesis proofreading Toronto when searching for help, but the services seem to vary quite a bit. I’d rather know what is normally included before sending a 200-page document. How did you handle yours?
