Searching for the best girls school in Karachi — what I've learned so far

My daughter turns five next year and my husband and I have already started what feels like a full blown investigation into finding the best girls school in Karachi for her. I know it sounds early but anyone who has been through this process in Karachi knows that waiting lists for the more sought after institutions are no joke and getting caught off guard is genuinely not an option. So here we are, spreadsheet open, opinions flying from every direction and still not entirely sure what we are looking for.
What has become clear quite quickly is that girls schools in Karachi vary enormously not just in academic performance but in overall ethos and values — and for a daughter specifically those non academic dimensions matter just as much to us as the O level results. How does the school approach confidence building? Is there a genuine culture of encouraging girls to be ambitious, outspoken and intellectually curious or is the focus narrowly on grades and discipline? The best girls school in Karachi for our family is one that produces young women who know their own minds — and that is a harder thing to assess from a prospectus than a list of distinctions.
